The world map

Press "Travel to another city" to open the world map. Choose a city to see the travel time and information about it, then depart with your cargo. In-game time passes while you travel, and city prices change along the way. The closer the city, the sooner you arrive.

Trade Permits

To trade inside a city, you need that city's Trade Permit. You start with permits for your starting city and a few cities near it; for other cities, you pay a fee to the gatekeeper at the city gate to get one. If you arrive without a permit, you can only stay in front of the gate. Permits for cities in other nations cost more than those in your own nation.

Currency exchange

The Lumia Federation uses LUX, the Dadaro Merchant League uses SHEL, and the Ironbell Duchy uses KRON. To trade in another nation, you must exchange your money for that nation's currency in a city with an exchange office. Exchange rates and fees eat into your profit, so it is best to plan ahead and exchange only as much as you need.

Mana stones

Mana stones are a currency accepted in every nation as well as the fuel for magic. Each nation regulates large-scale mana stone trading and their movement across its borders, so the amount you can trade at once grows with the authority you have built in that nation.

Planning your journey

  • Decide your cargo first — cargo space is limited. Load the most profitable goods first.
  • Find a return load — check in advance which goods are cheap in the city you are heading to, so you never come back empty-handed.
  • Stop by the inn — in the inn's memory room, you can rewatch story scenes you have already seen.
