Notices and update news for Cool Head Warm Heart.

Updates

Server saving has started for signed-in accounts

If you sign in with Google, your progress is also saved to the server, so you can continue by signing in with the same account on another device or browser. An account can be played in only one tab at a time, and you can see the time of the server save in the game menu. For details, please see “7. Saving” in How to Play.

“Start game” now starts right away without a password. If you do not sign in, you play as a guest and your progress is saved only in this browser, and a notice for choosing how to save appears when you start a new game and before you begin Chapter 1. If you sign in with a Google account that has no progress after playing as a guest, your guest progress is moved to that account once.

From “Mini-game” on the title screen, you can solve Go life-and-death problems right away without saving. Tap the trailer card on the title screen to also watch a short video that joins the opening with scenes from the First Journey.

The title screen now shows the age rating (Korea 15+), and you can see the details in “Rating info”. This rating is the IARC rating assigned to the Google Play app (TWA).

Market merchants now speak even when you play in another language. For now, the voices are in Korean, and Korean subtitles are not shown on screens in other languages.

About the Game now introduces the three nations, five cities and five market merchants with illustrations, and we have opened the Play Guide (articles on trading, the workshop, travel and Go, catalogs of cities, goods and recipes, and Merchant Authority). How to Play has also been updated to match current features such as game lessons, plazas and companion proposals.

“Beyond the Gate”, the Card Dungeon prototype, has been sealed until preparations are complete.

We have revised the Privacy Policy for server saves

Now that the progress of accounts signed in with Google is saved on the server, we have revised the Privacy Policy. We added the items kept on the server and when they are sent, save check records (kept for 90 days) and operational backup copies (up to 28 days), and how to delete your account in the game. The revised Policy applies from 2026-09-29.

As before, the progress of guests who have not signed in is saved only in this browser. Guest progress is saved to the server only when it is moved by signing in with a Google account that has no progress.

We are currently in the alpha testing period. All progress from the testing period will be reset before the official launch, and we will announce the reset date in advance.

We have revised the Privacy Policy and How to Play

We have corrected save information that did not match how the game actually works. Game progress is currently saved only in the browser you are using, whether or not you are signed in, and there is not yet a feature for continuing on another device via a server (you can, however, move your progress with a backup file).

We have added sections on the Google sign-in script, Cloudflare access logs and overseas transfer, and a list of cookies to the Privacy Policy, and set out how to request deletion of account information (using the account number on the title screen and in the game menu).

The information pages can now be read in the 8 languages the game supports.

The alpha test has begun

The alpha version of Cool Head Warm Heart is now available. As the game is still in development, content and numbers change often, and progress data may be reset when there are major changes.

Please send any bugs you find or feedback you have while playing to contact@chwh.app.

Notices

Save data stays only in this browser

For now, you play as a guest without signing in, and your progress is saved only in the browser you are using. If you clear the browser's site data or connect from another device, you will not be able to continue.

If you download a backup file using “Export backup file” in the menu, you can load it in another browser as well.

Updates

Alpha version highlights

You can play trading and currency exchange across fifteen cities in three nations, workshop crafting, city contracts and standing routes, and authority titles for each nation.

The investment office and the Card Dungeon are prototypes currently being tested.
